Calculates Displays the issue's first/last commenter. |
The First/Last Comment User Custom Field custom field calculates and displays the user who commented made the first or last comment on an issue first or last. This custom field helps identify the individuals involved in the initial or most recent comment activity.
To create a First/Last Comment User Custom

Field, follow these steps:
Navigate

to Apps > Enhancer Plugin

for Jira > Custom Field Configuration
...

Click

the Add New
...
JEP Custom Field button
...
.
Click the Comment tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue.
Select Comment User, then click Add custom field.
Fill in the dialog box:

Create a name for the custom field.

Specify First or Last to display either the first or last commenter.
Click the Save custom field button to create the custom field. The custom field will now appear in the issue view:
Once created, the Comment User custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.See also First / Last Public Comment User Custom Fieldfor sorting and searching in the issue navigator, allowing you to filter and find issues based on the commenter.

It's important to note that for new or updated issues after creating this custom field, the custom field values will automatically update correctly. However, for existing issues, it's necessary to regenerate the issue in order to see the correct values associated with the Comment User custom field. |
