You can create an Initial status custom field Status Custom Field to display the very first status of within the issue. This field is a searchable and calculated (read-only) custom field.

an Initial Status Custom Field
- Navigate to JIRA to Jira Admin > Add-ons Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Field Configuration and switch to Status tabFields (JEP).
- Click on the
button. - Click on Add new Status custom field button and select Add new Initial Status the Status tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue.
- Select Initial Status, then click Add custom field.
- Fill in the dialog dialog box:
- Give Create a name to for the custom field.
- And click click Save custom field. That's it.
This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
