Go to the Salesforce object that you want to create a Jira issue from.
Click on Create Jira Issue.
A pop-up window displays the Jira interface.
You will need to choose the appropriate project and issue type for the new issue.
The project and issue type must be already mapped in Jira to the current Salesforce object.
Click Create.
The new issue will appear, complete the with information for that Salesforce object displayed.
Note that the information displayed in your issue may differ to what is shown below as it may have been customized by your Jira administrator.

The pop-up window can be safely closed.
To verify the issue is now linked to the Salesforce object, go back to the object in Salesforce and refresh the page.
The newly created issue should display in the window for related issue
