This article explains how to access use the parameter "URL to Excel file" parameter in the app the Excel for Confluence app.

Instructions

Here are the instructions to access the excel file from the specified URL:

1. Login as an Confluence Administrator and 
2. Log in as a Confluence administrator.
3. Navigate to Image Added > Add-ons > Find new apps and search for "Excel for Confluence". Ensure you have Excel for Confluence app installed in your confluence Confluence instance.

4. Log in as any user in your Confluence instance and add an Excel file to a page as required.
5. Right-click on the file and select Copy Link Address. Note that this address is different from the URL of the webpage.

6. Insert and Edit the Excel macro.
