Chat for JSM is an easy-to-use live chat app for real-time customer support. The Chat Widget allows customers to have real-time conversations with support agents through a chat interface, while the Chat Dashboard enables support agents to manage customer requests in a practical and convenient way.
This page contains step-by-step instructions on how to install Chat for JSM.
Before You Begin
You must be a Jira administrator to carry out the instructions on this page.
Chat for JSM requires the Jira for Service Management application to be present. It will not work with other Jira platforms, such as Jira Software.

How to Install Chat for JSM:
Installing Chat for JSM is like installing any other Jira app (see Managing add-ons in the Jira documentation).
Log in to your Jira Cloud instance as a Jira Administrator.
Select the Jira Settings cog in the top right of your Jira instance and select Apps. The Find New Apps page displays.
Type
Chat for Jira Service Managementin the search field and press Enter.Click Try it free to install your app.
Click Start Free Trial. A confirmation message and the app details display once it installs successfully.
