Summary
The enhanced clone operations provided by this add-on are available on the More menu when viewing an issue. A default install will add Clone+ and Clone++ actions. However, your administrator may have customized your installation to select what clone operations are available for specific projects including how they are named and behave. The difference between Clone+ and Clone++ is the latter allows you to change the project and issue type of the clone. Both allow you to change other fields before the clone is created.
Users should find the UI similar to creating issues with some additional options for controlling the clone operation.

The Copy links option is displayed only when the an associated link type of the original issue is Relates, Derived, Duplicate etc... This option is not displayed when the original issue: - is cloned from a different issue, i.e., when the associated link type is Clones
AND/OR - does not have any associated link(s)

Information for administrators is available in the Administrator's Guide where it talks about installation and customization.Clone Plus for Jira Cloud provides advanced clone operations that allow you to clone an issue using customized clone operations. Jira administrator configures these clone operations for specific projects including how various fields function while cloning. As a project user, you can use these clone operations through the Clone Plus option in the Actions menu of an issue. These options enable you to use the tailor-made clone operations and modify other fields before cloning an issue.
The User Guide guide provides usage details of the Clone Plus operations enabled by Clone Plus for Jira for a customized cloning of an issue. It also presents a few examples to help you explore various ways in which you can benefit from the app and use the app effectively.
