Before you start structuring your tasks make sure that you understand the basic concepts related to task scheduling.

Structuring tasks manually

The Gantt and Scope module allow allows you to structure your tasks manually. There are different ways to do that including:

  • Drag and drop

  • Keyboard shortcuts

  • Arrows on the module's header (SCOPE)

  • Arrows on the task vertical dialog

You can move selected tasks or groups of tasks (using the multi-select feature).

Use the arrows in the dialog, which appears when you click on a task, to structure your tasks manually:

  • Arrow pointing right will indent the task or  SHIFT + ->

  • Arrow pointing left will outdent the task or SHIFT + <-

Active structure builder conflicts

When the Structure builder 'Sprint' is active all tasks added to a Sprint which will be nested under it. If you try to move a Task from Sprint1 to Sprint2 or below our outdent the task you will receive a warning:Image Removed
