Installation of Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud is a slightly different process than from installing to the Data Center version.

Install from URL

<I’m capturing this since presently it’s the installation method we are using. I’m guessing it will disappear, and marketplace will be the primary installation method, but it might be helpful to hang on to this just in case - for example, in case it takes time for the cloud version to be available on Marketplace>

Installation requires an account with Administrator privileges.

Atlassian Marketplace

  1. Go to Atlassian Marketplace and locate Webhook to Jenkins via the Search the Marketplace field.

  2. Select Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket from the search results and select Cloud from the Hosting Options list.

  3. Click Get it now to open the Select your hosting type dialog. Click Get it now from the Cloud option.

    Your Bitbucket Cloud instance opens to the App Marketplace page. Click Add.

  4. Review the access permissions and click Grant access.

Bitbucket Cloud

  1. Log in as an administrator and click the profile avatar in the top-right corner of any Bitbucket Cloud page.

  2. Click the applicable workspace from the Recent Workspace list, or click All Workspaces and select the workspace from the list.

  3. Click Settings

  • Confirm the Enable development mode option is selected and click Install app from URL.

  • When the Install app from URL dialog opens, enter the URL address and click Install.

    After installing Webhook to Jenkins

    When Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud is installed

    , you’ll receive a message to reload the page manually. If you don’t manually reload the page, you may receive an error message

    Install through Bitbucket

    Refresh the page for the Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud entry to appear at the bottom of the Workspace settings menu.

    Access request

    When you click Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket for the first time, an Access request box opens asking for Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud access to your account. If you do not grant access, the app cannot operate.

    Click Review to open the Review permissions dialog.

    Click Allow to grant access to your account. An Access granted message opens once the request is allowed.

    Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud can now be configured and used.

    If you click Cancel, you deny Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud access to your account. To provide access after this point, Click Settings ⚙️ > Personal Bitbucket Settings > App authorizations. Click Remove next to the Webhook to Jenkins entry. The next time you open Webhook to Jenkins, the Access request box appears and you can allow access to your account.
