Create System Configuration Snapshots
A system configuration snapshot encompasses focuses only on the whole configuration aspects of the your Jira instance - i.e., . It includes all projects, all workflows, all custom fields, settings, etc., are included. but it doesn’t include any issue data.
With a system snapshot, you can merge the configuration of one Jira instance with another or promote configuration changes from testing to production instances.

Log in as a user with the System Administrators global permission.
Choose the cog icon at the top right of the screen, then choose Configuration Manager:
Select Snapshots to open the Configuration Snapshots page and click on the Add Snapshot button. The following dialogue will appear:
