Project Configurator is a standard app 2 type, paid-via-Atlassian app, so the installation and licensing process is the same as that used by most apps in the Atlassian Marketplace. If this is the first time you have installed an app, follow the instructions on Atlassian’s Installing Marketplace Apps page. Licenses can be installed and managed using the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) inside your Jira instance.
Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
Select Manage Apps from the Administration menu.
Search for Project Configuration for Jira.
Click Try it Free to begin a new trial or Buy it Now to purchase a license. You will be prompted to log in to MyAtlassian.
Enter your information then click Generate License to receive and apply your license.

Install Project Configurator for Jira
Install on Jira Data Center
To install the Project Configurator for Jira app on your Jira Data Center instance, follow these steps:
Log into your Jira Data Center instance as a user with the Jira System Administrator global permission.
Navigate to the top right of the screen and choose Jira Settings > Manage apps.
In the menu on the left, click Find new apps.
Search for Project Configurator for Jira.
Once you locate the app, click Buy now.
Review the app details and click Select & install to proceed with the installation.
After the installation is complete, you may need to provide your Project Configurator app's license key in the License key textbox. You can copy your license key from https://my.atlassian.com.
Install on Jira Server
To install the Project Configurator for Jira app on your Jira Server instance, follow these steps:
Visit Project Configurator for Jira’s Atlassian Marketplace page.
From the Hosting options dropdown on the right side of the page, select Server as the hosting type.
Scroll to the Resources section at the bottom of the page and click Download to get the Project Configurator installation file.
In your Jira Server instance, log in as a user with the Jira System Administrator global permission.
Navigate to the top right of the screen and choose Jira Settings > Manage apps.
In the menu on the left, click Manage apps again.
Click the Upload app link and select the installation file you downloaded in step 3.
Click Upload and wait for the app to install.
After the installation is complete, select Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog. You may need to provide your Project Configurator app's license key in the License key textbox. You can copy your license key from https://my.atlassian.com
Update Project Configurator
To update the Project Configurator for Jira app, follow these steps:
Log in to Jira as a user with the Jira System Administrators global permission.
Navigate to the top right of the screen and choose Jira Settings > Manage apps.
On the Manage Apps page, look in the Apps Requiring Action section and locate Project Configurator for Jira.
Click Update.
Uninstall Project Configurator
To uninstall the Project Configurator for Jira app, follow these steps:
Log in to Jira as a user with the Jira System Administrators global permission.
Navigate to the top right of the screen and choose Jira Settings > Manage apps.
On the Manage Apps page, locate Project Configurator for Jira in User-installed apps. Click on it to display its details.
Click Uninstall.
In the Uninstall app? dialog, confirm by clicking Uninstall again.
In the What happened? dialog, you can provide a reason for uninstalling the app. Select Send feedback or Don't send feedback to complete the uninstalling process.
