This condition allows transition only if the issue has been set to the selected status any time before the transition.

Steps

  1. Open the workflow where you want to add the condition and locate the transition you want.

  2. Switch to the Conditions tab.

  3. Click the Add Condition button.

All User custom fields will be listed in the upcoming screen, select the one you want and click on Add button

That's it, the condition is added to the transition.

  2. On the configuration screen:

    Image Added
    • Issue has been set as – Choose the status that the issue must have been in at any time before the transition.

    • Look for just before current status – Enable this option if you want the most recent status to be the same as the selected one. For example, if this option is enabled and if the selected status is In Review, the issue must currently be transitioning from In Review. If disabled, the issue only needs to have been in the selected status at any point in its history before the transition.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Publish the workflow.

The condition will now be added to the transition.
