You can expand Jira issues in private messages and DMs using the expand Jira issue action.
You can use the Expand Jira Issues action anywhere within Slack.
The bot must not be invited to the channel to use this feature.
Expanding Issues
Click on a message in Slack.
Choose the action Expand Jira Issues.
View the threaded reply to view the issue information.
If you don't see the Expand Jira Issue action, go to More Message Actions to find it.
