When using another a language other than English, the Status - and any other field fields that changes change when the profile language changes - will be sent in the selected language.

This happens because the “Push to Salesforce” post function pushes Status in the user language used in their Jira cloud profile.
The post function will push the value on your chosen language in your profile.
HOW TO SOLVE IT
Disable all post functions in all the transitions if the user language is set to anything but English.
Use the Auto push/pull options (They will push the value in the Status language)
