These instructions will help you to access the excel file from the URL.

1. Make sure you have Excel for Confluence app installed in your confluence instance.

2. Go to the page where you want to copy the URL, below is the example of an attachment URL by right-clicking and Copy the Link address.
   
3. Use the Markup macro {excel} ,enter Insert and Edit the Excel macro.

4. Enter the below details and click on Save Preview.
   Output format: html
   Page for attachment: page to display attachment on
   URL to Excel file: copied URL
   URL user: username
   URL user password: password

5. The result will be displayed as shown below
