- Open the Chrome browser and log into Confluence instance.
- Open the confluence page for which you want to analyze the javascript errors.
- Hit the F12 key In the chrome browser.
- Developer Tools panel opens on your screen, select the Network tab. By default, the Developer Tools will load at the bottom of your screen.
- Check the Disable Cache option in the Network tab toolbar to prevent caching of resources for this specific page.
- Select the Console tab.
- Click on the gear icon to open the Console settings.
- Check the box next to the Preserve log and Log XMLHttpRequests.
- Click the Clear console button() to clear out any existing logs from the console.
- Try to reproduce the issue that you are experiencing while the console is open.
- Once you have reproduced the issue, right-click anywhere in the console, select Save as, and save the file to your computer.
