This article explains how to add a trigger to the a Bamboo plan with using Bamboo Command Line Interface (CLI).

Instructions

Use addTrigger action to add a trigger to the plan. Triggering in Bamboo allows plan builds to be started automatically.

The parameters used in the below action:

--plan value refers to Bamboo plan key.
--type value refers to the Triggering triggering options.
--repository value refers to the repository name.
--schedule value refers to the schedule configuration.

  • Execute this action for the trigger typePollingBamboo will 'poll' the selected source code repositories for code changes using a schedule.
