Assume the following is an example issue you want to clone:

In this issue screen:

1. Old Jira issue view: Click the Clone Plus button from the controls on the top right corner.
   Or
   New Jira issue view: Select the Clone Plus option from the Actions (Image Modified) menu on the top right corner.
   You are navigated to the Clone Plus for Jira window.

2. Select the Clone operation that is configured for your scenario and other values as required.

3. Click Clone to configure the other issue fields further as required.

4. Click Create to create the issue. You see a successful issue creation message and the parent issue is cloned as configured:
