If you already have User Group Picker PRO and are installing Power Custom Fields Premium, consider the following precautionary measures:
If You are entitled to a PCF license if you have a valid UGP UGB PRO license, you are entitled to a PCF Premium license. Contact us, and we'll help migrate your license from UGP Pro PRO to PCF Premium.
All custom fields defined by PCF PRO will be migrated automatically along with their configuration. This step cannot be reversed easily. It requires you to You must contact support and reverse it manually by running certain specific SQL scripts on your database. However, this process is not recommended.
Migrating your PRO license is the correct processrecommended, as new improvements and maintenance will only be implemented into PCF Premium.
Both UGP PRO and PCF Premium will continue to function in parallel, however we strongly recommend that you uninstall UGP PRO at your earliest convenience because the migration task happens only once.
Do NOT create more custom fields via UGP PRO. All of the PCF Pro functionality exists in PCF Premium.
After installing PCF Premium and uninstalling PCF PRO we uninstalling UGB PRO, we strongly recommend restarting Jira and performing a Jira re-index.
