Notes for the User Group Picker PRO users
Fields defined by UGP PRO will by UGP PRO will continue to work in the same way as fields defined in the Power Custom Fields Premium. No changes are expected or intended.
If you already have User Group Picker PRO already and installed are installing Power Custom Fields Premium, consider the following precautionary measures:
If you have a valid license of UGP PRO license, you are entitled to a PCF Premium PCF Premium license. Contact us, and we'll help migrate your license from UGP Pro to PCF Premium.
All custom fields defined by UGP PRO will be migrated automatically along along with their configuration. This step cannot be reversed easily, however you can contact support if you want to reverse it manually (you will need to run certain SQLs on your database). We must insist here, this is a step we highly do not recommend.
Migrating your UGP PRO license is the only correct thing to do, as new improvements and maintenance will only happen in PCF Premium from now on.Both UGP PRO and PCF Premium will continue to function in parallel, however we strongly recommend that you uninstall the UGP PRO at your earliest convenience because the migration task happens only once.
Do NOT create more custom fields via UGP PRO. You have all functionality in the PCF Premium edition.
After installing PCF Premium and uninstalling UGP PRO we strongly recommend you to restart Jira and perform Jira re-index.
