JIRA has a variety of custom field types and add-ons can provide new ones. Some of these custom field types cannot be fully supported without specific logic. This is complicated by this JIRA bug - JRA-45371. Please  

Please open an issue if you need support for custom field type that is not currently supported for your needs. In many cases the field will be supported automatically but there may be some capabilities not support for more specialized fields. We test various scenarios with the list provided here. Limitations will be noted.
