This page explains the migration support details for the Dataplane Server/Data Center app reports from Server/DC to the cloud.
The Dataplane Reports application by Appfire is hosted on the Server/Data Center Dataplane Reports is part of Appfire’s group of industry-leading business intelligence and reporting apps for Atlassian products, which includes:
Dataplane Reports runs on Jira Data Center and Server, and is not available on the cloud. To have your Dataplane reports on the cloud, use the Jira Cloud.
While we continue focusing Dataplane Reports on enterprise-scale reporting for Jira Data Center and Server, we’ve partnered with Appfire’s Dashboard Hub for Jira team to deliver a first-class Jira Cloud reporting solution for Dataplane Reports customers and a path to migrate your Dataplane Reports data to Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloudapplication by Appfire.
Prerequisites
Install (and configure) Dashboard Hub for Jira on your cloud instance.
Migration process
Appfire is working on an automated way of migrating from Dataplane Reports for Jira Server/Data Center to the Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud using JCMA. We will update you as soon as it’s ready.
Meanwhile, we recommend configuring your Dataplane reports on Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud to experience its benefits. To configure reports, refer to Migrating from Dataplane Server/Data Center to Dashboard Hub Cloud.
Limitations
The reports look and feel may differ slightly based on the configurations and application templates of Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud.

The reports generated in Dataplane Reports and Dashboard Hub for Jira cloud are based on the Jira data available in the instance. To have the Dashboard reports with the same data as Server/Data Center, migrate your Jira Server/ Data Center data to the Jira cloud.

We’ve integrated Dataplane Reports with Atlassian’s Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) app to provide an automated migration path for moving your Dataplane Reports app data to Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud.
Atlassian’s JCMA app is free, pre-installed in every Jira Data Center and Server instance, and typically the main conduit by which Atlassian customers migrate their Jira Data Center/Server instances to Cloud. So the Dataplane Reports-JCMA integration likely already fits seamlessly into your existing plans for migrating to Jira Cloud.

Migrating Dataplane Reports
There are two different ways to migrate your organization’s Dataplane Reports to Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud—automated migration using Atlassian’s Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA), and manually building reports in Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud.
Automated migration with JCMA should accomplish much of what you need, but as you become familiar with Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud, you may find it more expedient to build some reports directly in Cloud or tweak the results of an automated JCMA migration to tailor the results to your liking.
Automated JCMA Migration
Appfire is investing considerable resources integrating Dataplane Reports with JCMA and Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud to provide a path for moving your Dataplane reports to Cloud.
Support for migrating various types of Dataplane reports and features will be delivered in phases via coordinated releases of Dataplane Reports and Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud.

The following is a typical workflow for JCMA migration of Dataplane Reports data to Jira Cloud:
