Accessing the delegated groups

As a delegated group owner, you can edit the members add or remove members in any of your group groups by going to your profile in the upper right corner of the Atlassian Application. In the drop down that appears, select "My groups".

Selecting groups

Once selected, a dialog

will appear with a list

below will be shown. It lists each of the groups

that you're an owner of

for which you are the owner. If a group

Managing a group

Once in a group, you can remove current members by clicking

(note: that if a user is a read only directory you cannot remove them. In addition to this - you cannot remove yourself from a group)

Limitations:

  • You cannot remove users from a read-only directory.
  • You cannot remove yourself from a group.

 

Adding a user to group

To add a user to group, simply search for the user by typing part of their name (1) and click Search. The dropdown will show all of the matches

Once you've selected the user, click Save.

If the

cases of where the

user is in a read-only directory, Delegated Group Management cannot add them to groups. These users will show up as disabled and denoted with "(Read-only)" in the the dropdown.
