How to create a component version

In Octo navigate to the Component releases tab
Click on Create Component Version button

3. Fill required fields - Version name, and link a Component
4. You can fill not mandatory fields like
Description,
Start date and Release date,
Project release version - in case you want to include the component release in your project release,
5. Click on the Save button to create a new component version.
You can see the newly created version in the Components releases list in Octo and you can now link issues to this version.
Who can create a component releases
At the moment everyone who has access to your Jira can create and manage Component versions in Octo.
