Now that you have connected Confluence to Salesforce, you can configure mappings for Confluence pages that you want to publish to Salesforce. Mappings allow you to set the behavior of the publishing process and set the destination record type, channels, fields, and more.

  1. In your Confluence space, click on the gear icon ⚙ ⚙️ (Settings).

  2. In the left sidebar, scroll down to the Salesforce Publisher section, and click on Configuration.

  3. On the page, you will see the following sections:

    1. Automations - To set automatic update of Salesforce article upon subsequent updates to the Confluence page, turn on Automatic update.

    2. Permissions - Add and authorize groups to access publisher features. The added group will be listed on the page.

    3. Article Mappings - Set the mappings for Confluence content to be published to Salesforce.  

  4. In the Article mappings window, type the new mapping name and hit enter.

  5. Click on the expand button to view the configuration of the created mapping.
