This page will guide you through the process of installing Security and Encryption for Confluence Server & Data Center.
Installation
There are two methods of installation:
Method | Details |

Installation using an Atlassian License (a license bought through the Atlassian Marketplace). | - Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
- Go to the top right of the page and click on the cog icon > Manage apps.
The Manage add-ons screen loads. - Click Find new apps.
Locate Security and Encryption for Confluence Server & Data Center via search. The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results. - Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license.
You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. The download will then begin. - Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
- Click Apply license.
If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Confluence instance.

| STEP 1: Install the app - Go to the top right of the page and click on the cog icon > Manage apps
- Click Find New Add-ons.
Search for Security and Encryption for Confluence Server & Data Center - Click on Install.
- Ensure the add-on is installed successfully.
STEP 2: Install the ServiceRocket License - Purchase a ServiceRocket license from the ServiceRocket Marketplace and you will be given a link to download the license key.
- Go to the top right of the page and click on the cog icon > General configuration.
In the sidebar, under Security and Encryption for Confluence Server & Data Center, click License. - Upload the ServiceRocket License.keyfile by clicking Choose File.
- Click Install.
- if your license is valid, it will be displayed under Current License.
