excerptPlugin: Classic Connector for Salesforce & Jira Question: I Am Unable to See VisualForce (Fetch Endpoint) Using Chrome/Firefox/IE Answer: The problem is caused by browser's mixed content blocking (HTTPS page that includes content retrieved through a regular HTTP connection - especially with active content). By default, mixed content is blocked in Internet Explorer (version 10+), Mozilla Firefox (version 23+) and Google Chrome (version 21+) . When mixed content is blocked, you may see a blank page or a message saying that "Only secure content is displayed". To enable a browser to view blocked mixed content. You can view the mixed content to be displayed, you can do that easily as below; Firefox A small icon of a shield will appear on the left side of the address bar if the page you are viewing contains insecure content. Click on the shield and click the More Actions arrow. Select “Disable Protection” on this page. Chrome A small icon of a shield will appear on the right side of the address bar if the page you are viewing contains insecure content. Click on the shield. Select “Load Unsafe Script” IE Popup will appear at the bottom of the page that says “Only secure content is displayed” if the page you are viewing contains unsecure content. Click “Show all content.”   Solution  The problem can be solved by migrating Jira to HTTPS.   You can "hack" the browser to force to load mixed content as below but it is not the best solution; Firefox In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter. Click the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button. In the search field, type "block_active". Set the value for the one search result ("security.mixed_content.block_active_content") to "false". Chrome Right-click the Google Chrome desktop icon (or Start Menu link). Select Properties. At the end of the existing information in the Target field, add " --allow-running-insecure-content" (there is a space before the first dash). Select OK. IE Go to Tools -> Internet Options and select the Security tab. Make sure the “Internet” zone is selected and then click the “Custom Level” button. Scroll-down the list of options and set the “Display mixed content” setting from “Prompt” to “Enable.”
