excerptAdd-on: Classic Connector for Salesforce & Jira Question: What is a Security Token? Answer: A security token is a special case-sensitive alphanumeric code that is added to the end of your password. This combination of password+security token can then be used in the password field when logging in to Salesforce during configuration of application links . To obtain a security token, log into Salesforce: From your personal settings, enter " Reset " in the  Quick Find  box, then select  Reset My Security Token . Click  Reset Security Token . This will send a new security token to your email. See also: How Do I Resolve LOGIN_MUST_USE_SECURITY_TOKEN Errors? Reset Your Security Token (Salesforce Documentation)
