SIL™ data source helps you obtain the values which will populate the custom field using SIL™ scripts. The purpose of SIL™ data source is to bring fast results on the screen for your custom fields, writing your own SIL™ scripts. Data can come from actual databases (using the sql routine for instance) or from files, legacy systems, and so on. The script will bring the results you need for your custom field.
