Overview

When applied to a page, Comala Document Approval creates a distinction betweencontent the document in a draft workflow approval state (Review and Rejected states) and content the document in the approved Approved workflow approval state (Approved state).

Draft states and the approved state

When the Comala Document Approval app is added and applied to the content, the initial approval state is the Review state. The content document is considered to be in a draft state.

Both the Review and the Rejected state contain a content review. When the content document is in one of these states, a user can choose to approve or reject the content.

Adding or removing a label or attachment does not cause a transition, as there is no version change for the content. Only The approval workflow sees only editing and publishing the content is seen by the approval workflow document as an update and will cause the approval to , which causes an approval workflow transition.
