When creating a session you can decide to have all participants equal or run a session with Scrum Master. In the latter case only Scrum Master will be able to select active issue and , fill in estimates and manage the session in Private mode. You also select participants that will be able to join by choosing Private mode and particular participants. You can run multiple sessions for a given board and they will be totally separate.
