About manual task structure
You can structure your Tasks tasks manually or use the Structure Builders. Actually, you structure builders. You can use both ways and generate a really complex structure but let's start with the basics.

Structure tasks manually
The Gantt and Scope module allows modules allow you to structure your tasks manually. There are different ways to do that, including:
Drag and drop
Keyboard shortcuts
Arrows on the Scope module's header (SCOPE)
Arrows on the task vertical dialog

Once the parent-child relationship is created, it will show appear in all modules that can display the task structure: Board backlog, Scope, Gantt, and WBS widget.

Use the arrows in the dialog, which appears when you click on a task, to structure your tasks manually:
Arrow An arrow pointing right will indent the task or SHIFT + ->
Arrow An arrow pointing left will outdent the task or SHIFT + <-

Active structure builder conflicts
When a structure builder is enabled the App , BigPicture will block an operation if it leads to a conflict, and you will see a warning.
For example:
When the Structure builder 'Sprint' is active all tasks added to a Sprint which will be nested under it. If you try to move a Task from Sprint1 to Sprint2 or below our outdent the task you will receive a warning:
