Overview

You can install Integration+ with just a few steps. The setup is a one-time process that lets your team start immediately. You must be a Jira admin to install.

Info

Not everyone is a Jira admin, so we get that. Contact your Jira admin and send them the information in this document to get them started.

  • Each Slack workspace can connect to only one Jira instance.

  • A single Jira instance can connect to multiple Slack workspaces.

  • The account that establishes the Jira connection will become the Main authorized user. This account’s Jira permissions determine the integration’s access. We typically recommend using a Service Account. This account can be changed at any time from the Account Portal.

  • The user must have Slack permissions to add an integration to the workspace.

Info

We do not recommend configuring Jira Service Management projects and non-JSM (e.g., Jira Core or Jira Software) projects simultaneously. While we will allow you to do so, permissions may not work correctly in Jira Service Management projects.
