When a resource has no assigned tasks, then no workload is displayed. The workload can stand as followfollows:
with less than 75% of the capacity, the bar turns Green (under-allocation)
between 75% and 100% of the capacity, the bar turns Orange (moderate allocation)
over 100% of the capacity, the bar turns Red (overallocation)
Factors such as issue type (for example, an epic) and issue relationships (links, dependencies) have no impact on resource workload and capacity.
Capacity equals 0
The capacity equals 0 when a resource is NOT available on a given day (because of workload plans, holiday plans, or individual absences). The capacity can equal 0 for an individual. In such a situation, BigGantt uses the following algorithm (applies only for tasks with automatic contouring mode):
the task effort is distributed between non-working days of the resource when all days from the task’s period are non-working days - the sum of the capacity from the period is 0,
the task effort is NOT distributed between non-working days of the resource when only a part of the task’s period consists of non-working days - the sum of the capacity from the period is higher than 0. The task effort is distributed only between working days.
When a the total availability of a resource exceeds 100%, a warning displays.
