Default Message Format: Customize which fields are always visible.
Restricted Fields: Hide specific fields universally.
Project Field Configuration: Fine-tune field visibility for specific projects and issue types.

Setting Personal Message Format Within Slack
Personal Notifications
To change the field configuration for the issues that are sent to your Messages tab:
Navigate to the Integration+ Home Tab on Slack.
Under Message Format, click Configure.
In the modal, select the fields you want to show for issues in this channel.

Click Save.
Application Home Notifications

Navigate to the Integration+ Home Tab on Slack.
Under Home Message Format, click Configure.
In the modal, select the fields you want to show for issues in this channel.

Slack Channel Configuration
To use field configuration in your Slack channels:
Invite Integration+ to the channel.
Type
/jira-plus configure
to open the channel settings modal.Under Message Configuration, click Configure.
In the modal, select the fields you want to show for issues in this channel.

Click Save.
Configuring Global / Project Notifications from the Account Portal
Getting Started
Navigate to the Account Portal.
Click Jira Field Configuration on the sidebar.
Click Add Configuration.
Adding a Default Message Format
Select Default Message Format.
Click Next.
Use the search bar to add fields, and the arrows to order them.
The first five fields (Summary, Description, Type, Status, and Priority) cannot be reordered; they are only removed.
Placing a field among these values will cause it to display below still Priority. The message preview will update live to reflect the updated list.
Click Save.
Adding a Restricted Field
Select Restricted Fields.
Click Next.
Use the search bar to add fields that should be hidden.
If a required field is hidden but does not have a default value set, it will still be shown on transition screens.
You may select where each field is hidden- everywhere, in Slack messages, view modal, and/or transition dialogs.
Default value: Hidden Everywhere.
Click Save.
Adding a Project Field Configuration
Select Project Field Configuration.
Select a project from the dropdown.
Select what issue types (or “All Issues” for all issue types) will respect the field configuration.
Click Next.
Use the search bar to add fields, and the arrows to order them.

Sending a Test Message
In order to see the field configuration applied to an existing issue in your system:
Navigate to the Account Portal.
Click Jira Field Configuration on the sidebar.
Click Send Test Message.
Use the search bar to find an issue by key or summary
Click Send Message.
Integration+ will send a DM to your user containing the selected issue with all current field configurations applied.
Channel Configuration
To use field configuration in your Slack channels:
