Exporting Search Results to CSV (Microsoft Excel)
AIP (Assets and Inventory app) enables you to easily export your asset search results from the Asset Navigator to Microsoft Excel. This can be a useful way to format data and create your own customized reports, graphs and charts.
To export search results to CSV (Microsoft Excel):
- Choose Assets > Asset Navigator.
- Refine your search, then choose the Export menu.
- Choose "Export CSV" from the dropdown menu:
- A file called Assets called Assets <Time Stamp>.csv will be created. Edit this file using Microsoft Excel Or Libre Office and/or save it as required.

Exporting Search Results to HTML
AIP (Assets and Inventory app) enables you to easily export your asset search results from the Asset Navigator to HTML with pre-defined export templates. This can be a useful way to print custom documents with assets, i.e. having an employee's signature to check-out assets.
To export search results to HTML:
- Choose Assets > Asset Navigator.
- Refine your search, then choose the Export menu.
- Choose "Export HTML" from the dropdown menu:
- A file called Assets <Time Stamp>.html will be created. Print this file using a browser.
